Delicatessen Rye
2 2/3 c Bread flour
1 c + 2 Tbs Rye flour
2 1/4 tsp Sugar
1 1/2 tbs Caraway seeds
1 1/2 tsp Barley malt syrup
1 c + 2 tbs water
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tbs Vegetable oil
1/3 c Sourdough starter
This bread really does taste just like deli rye. Follow your machine's instructions. You may need to add yeast depending on how active your starter is. Try not to add too much, to keep it from spilling over the pan!
