Butterscotch Apple Bread
2 c biscuit mix
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c raisins, optional
1/2 c nuts, chopped
1/3 c milk
1 tbs orange juice
1 c quick oats
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c butterscotch pieces
1 egg
1 c applesauce
Stir together biscuit mix, oats, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add butterscotch pieces, raisins, and nuts. Combine egg and milk; stir in. Add applesauce; beat mixture vigorously by hand for 30 seconds. Spoon into large greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 F for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool before slicing.
