| Pumpernickel Bread
1 1/4 c water
3 tbs molasses
1 tbs butter
2 c whole wheat bread flour
1 c rye flour
2 tbs wheat gluten
1/2 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c cornmeal
2 tbs carob powder
2 tsp caraway seeds
1 tbs instant yeast
Add the ingredients to your bread machine pan in the order given. This bread requires an extra knead. After the machine has completed the first knead, stop and restart the machine. Then proceed as normal.
